Doing the mind map made me consider a lot of possibilities, my main interest was in creating a photography magazine as it involved my creative hobby and I had a plethora plethora of images as stories to tell of how I captured these photos.

Doing this allows me to experiment with photoshop features and research the design of some of my favourite social media content creators such as Jay Alverez, Sam Kolder to inspire the look of my photos.

David Carson pops up as the main graphic designer surrounding surfing, and his style of experimental magazine cut-outs provides a solid conceptual starting point for my project. Additionally, the magazine by Brewster ‘My First Summer in the Sierra’ appealed to me as well as his layout for his magazine I quite like a lot.
